or family member early enough so that they receive their gift at a special
time. How do I place an early order to
ensure that they will receive it at the specified date without having to worry
about their getting it in time?
ANSWER: If you want to
make sure a care package or gift box is delivered on or by a certain date, please e-mail us
a note indicating exactly when you need the package to arrive after you have placed
your order. It is crucial that you give
us the desired delivery date to ensure it gets there in time. Please note that UPS Ground usually takes 3 to 5 business days. Keep this in mind when choosing shipping options. If you choose UPS 2nd Day Air or Next Day, please call us to verify shipping costs. We believe that UPS Ground is the best value. Also, remember that fulfilling your order typically takes between three to five business days after being placed. In some instances, if we have large orders, it may take up to seven business days to fulfill you order. Keep in mind that each care package and gift box is made to order. and personalized, and this is the reason why it takes longer to produce them.
QUESTION: How do I send care packages to
different people at different addresses?
ANSWER: Please send us
an e-mail to info@lawyerlylove.com indicating any special instructions so that we
can fulfill the orders exactly as you have requested. Please explain clearly what you need us to do.
QUESTION: How do I send my personalized message for the Lawyerly Love Personalized Gift Card?
ANSWER: When you add
your chosen item to the shopping cart, you have the option to add a
personalized message for each Lawyerly Love supportive care package or gift box that you
are sending. There will be a grey box
with "Personalized Message" in writing and in that box will be a note that says "Please add your personalized message to be included inside your gift
recipient's complimentary card." Add
your message in that space. We will make
sure your personalized message is included in the greeting card for the respective selected care package or gift box. The messages are printed by computer just as you have written them.
QUESTION: What if I don't like the items included or want items not
included currently in the offered packages? ANSWER: We are only able to send out the items included in the packages
shown on the website at this time.
However, we welcome and are very open to suggestions of what you think future,
new, and current law students, bar takers, and new lawyers would most like and need. We appreciate any and all input so that we
can do better. Thanks!
If there is an item that you know the recipient doesn't like and that you'd like
to substitute with another item that we currently do offer, then that is not a
problem whatsoever. Just e-mail us a
note indicating this preference as soon as you place your
order.
QUESTION: Is there a "satisfaction guarantee" for your care packages?
ANSWER: Absolutely! We do guarantee all of our care packages. If the recipient is unhappy with the care
package, or if there are problems with any items included in the care package,
we would be more than happy to replace them at our expense. For instance, if the recipient felt that a bag of the chocolate chip cookies didn't taste right to them or was crushed through the shipping/delivery process, etc. Then, we will send them a replacement item (plus extra goodies) right away at our expense. The entire care package can also be sent back for a
refund. However, the recipient must pay
for the total shipping costs to send it back to us. We believe that everything should be in great shape and taste good. All of the snacks have expiration dates, and we pay very close attention to make nothing has expired. However, even though we pay attention to those dates, something potentially could not taste right without our knowledge. If this is the case, let us know. We want to satisfy our customers.
QUESTION: What is your policy regarding replacing items or returning packages?
It is important that you or the care package or gift box recipient contact
us within 7 business days after delivery of the package to discuss replacements
or refunds. Please return care packages
that need to be replaced or refunded within 14 business days after
delivery. Please call or e-mail us to
let us know that you are unhappy and would like a replacement or refund of your
care package. Replacements and refunds are never a problem when doing business with us!
QUESTION: Do
you inform recipients that a special package is coming for them?
ANSWER: If you make the request, we can e-mail the
recipient a "special message" to let them know that their care package is on the way and when they
can expect for it to arrive.
QUESTION: Do
you have care packages geared to those watching their calories?
ANSWER: Yes! Now, we offer a Healthier/Lower Calorie Snack Attack Care Package option.
QUESTION: Do
you ever substitute items? ANSWER: Yes. If we run out of something, we reserve the right to substitute for similar items that we do have in stock. We will only substitute items if we have run out at the time we fulfill your order. However, we work very hard to keep things in stock so that there is no need for substitutions.
QUESTION: Do
you charge sales tax?
ANSWER: We only charge the Texas
sales tax of 8.3% to those persons placing orders within the state of Texas.
QUESTION: Can
I get a free care package if somehow my friend or loved one didn't get it?
ANSWER: Once your care package is sent, you will
receive information on how to track it.
However, we cannot be responsible for packages that the recipient failed
to pick up after UPS attempts delivery several times, or those that are misdirected due to your providing either
incorrect or incomplete mailing addresses. If something like this occurs and it is not our fault, we will send our regrets but are unable to send free care packages. Sorry. But know that we really do appreciate your business and will do whatever we can to prevent any misdirected shipments. We will also try to do what we can to get your business back, so don't hesitate to ask us about discounts and special offers.
QUESTION: How long does it take for orders to be filled, and then
delivered?
ANSWER: Our care packages and gift boxes will typically ship within three to five business days of your order being received.
If it's a large order, it may take longer. You will be sent an e-mail notification once your package has been shipped. All orders are shipped via the United Postal Service (UPS) Ground at this time.
We believe they are fast and efficient, and generally less expensive. Also, it is important to note that UPS does not deliver on weekends,. If you have something that needs to be delivered on a Saturday, then please contact us to explore shipping through the United States Postal Service (USPS).
QUESTION: What if your production time is too long, and I need something prepared and shipped more quickly?
ANSWER: There is rush service available. For the additional cost of $25.00, we can prepare your package and then ship within one to two days. If you need something shipped the next day, we offer expedited express service at an extra fee of $35.00. QUESTION: Do you deliver to P.O. Boxes?
ANSWER: UPS does not deliver to P.O. Boxes. If it is critical that a package be delivered to a P.O. Box, please contact us to arrange shipment through the United States Postal Service (USPS). If you choose to have us send a care package to a P.O. Box, make sure that you provide us with the recipient's e-mail address and phone number so we can notify them when the package has arrived so that they can pick it up from the post office. QUESTION: If I order more than one or two care packages, can I get a discount?
ANSWER: We can offer a discount of 10% off of your total order if you order 10 or more care packages.
QUESTION: Can I get free shipping?
ANSWER: We pay USPS the amount you send us for shipping your items. Therefore, we can only provide sales and discounts on the items we sell, not on the shipping costs.
QUESTION: Will it take longer for my care package to ship if I mail a check?
ANSWER: Yes. It will take longer. We generally wait to receive the check, and then wait until it clears the bank before we create and ship your care package. We will send you a message to let you know when the check is received and when it clears. From the day we learn that it clears, then the production process starts.
QUESTION: Do you create "customized" care packages or gift boxes?
ANSWER: Normally we do not. However, if you contact us well in advance, we may be able to create a special care package for your friend or loved one. E-mail us with your request and we will see what we can do.
